2026 Preview
So much going on...
It’s been awhile…
Welcome back! It’s been quite awhile since I’ve sent out a newsletter. My goal is to not bog you down with empty updates, but this one is a doozy! Most of what I’m going over is available in the Hourglass 2026 Guide that’s free at www.Comix.One if you’d rather read a PDF with pictures.
Comix.One
I want to let everyone know about the business and talks I’ve been having over at Comix.One. Comix. One is a website and a mobile site that prides itself on offering true Indie comics. They have big plans for 2026 and Hourglass Comix plans to grow with them. Our ideals align on getting great stories to the masses. Murderface is already available there digitally with Print in Demand coming soon! Head on over and get some great DRM Free comics.
This Years Slate
Hourglass Comix is releasing 4 comics this year. For those keeping count that’s 3 more than last year. All of this years crowdfunding will be done through drumroll…Comix. One! I’m taking advantage of their Crowdfunding platform which will make it easier to deliver Digital Comics to your Comix. One library and you’ll instantly have them on mobile for reading on the go. Here is the 2026 Preview Guide to look at art and pages for the upcoming releases and here’s what is coming out this year:
Zahra and Gene
Zahra and Gene are coming February 6th. Here is the link for the preview page. My goal is to get 25 people signed up for notifications.
Symon Sayz
Symon Sayz is the first Hourglass comic produced outside of Hourglass Comix. Jeff Meuth has been signed on to republish his original books newly re-edited and re-lettered in the Hourglass House. We are starting with a 96+ page trade launching in May.
Murderface #2
Murdeface issue #2 will be releasing in July. Pages are still being turned in by Luis Reborn. Some of the art he has turned in is available in the 2026 Preview Guide.
Lechauza VS La Llorona
Lastly, a story I am writing with my wife about a group of kids crossing the paths between two Mexican Legends.
This year is about expanding and branching out. Continuing with pre-established stories and introducing the world to new characters. I hope you’ll join me in my move to Comix. One and I hope I’ll be able to create new stories for you to enjoy forever.
Thank you for being a friend,
Vaughan Fox
